The handsome Hanrah was an important part of the Donoghue breeding program, siring their breeding stallion Ibn Hanrah (sire of Don Amistad++, Beau Ibn Hanrah, Don Fersheba++, and more) and foundation mare Rohanna (dam of Pulque++ and Tondelayo++).

Hanrah was euthanized at age 25 "due to extreme arthritis and progressing ringbone" as noted on allbreedpedigree.
